If you haven’t already seen, we have the front cover for the Spring 2015 issue of Wedding Whispers and thought should get a post up regarding it! We were very excited when Lynne, the editor of the magazine, emailed to say that she had been shown some of our work from one of our weddings and wanted to feature one of the shots on the front cover. The particular set of shots Lynne was deciding over was from a wedding we shot last summer for a really great couple from London who were married at the beautiful St. Audries Park in Somerset which is situated within 100 acres of tranquil deer park, overlooking the rolling Quantock Hills and the Bristol Channel beyond.
The Spring issue for any wedding magazine is a great one to be featured on in particular as it hopefully captures some of those couples who got engaged over Christmas and the new year time.
The new issue of Wedding Whispers covering the South West for January 2015 includes:
- The brand new collections for the bridal shops with collections by
Suzanne Neville, Lou Lou Bridal, Sincerity and Sottero and Midgley
and more are in the shops now
- A Class Act,
as popular Bristol bridal shop celebrates its tenth year, we ask
what sets them apart?
- The easy guide to buying your wedding dress,
all the collections in store and their useful price guide
- Real wedding in a yurt on the Mendip Hills,
is full of individual charm and character
- The extra mile with RR Elite
the south’s most beautiful collection of wedding cars
- A bolly good idea,
singing waiters, Bollywood style! What next for Bravo?
- Be image conscious
don’t trust unscrupulous traders with your wedding dress!
- Award winning photography
south west wedding photography at its best
- Wedding services and news
all the services, news and tools you need to make a start
on your wedding for 2015.
As well as the coveted front cover we have a generous 2/3rds A4 article about our wedding photography inside and are listed on their directory.
The article reads:
Justin and Emily Krause, the creative team behind the new front cover for the spring issue of Wedding Whispers, gained industry recognition when The Wedding Industry Experts awarded them Best Wedding Photographers in Somerset for 2013. The dynamic couple were also finalists at the Bristol and Somerset Wedding awards in 2014. We asked them what makes them so popular with couples here in the UK and on the international scene?
“We’ve found that whilst our couples like that we’re award winners it hasn’t actually been the sole reason for them deciding to book us for their most special day. However, I think seeing the award certificates when they come to their initial meeting gives them extra peace of mind when entrusting their day to us. We work hard to get to know each of our couples (even for international weddings where we keep in touch using Skype or Facetime) so they say we are more like their friends or guests at their wedding who just also happened to be great photographers! When we capture the most important day of their lives, we want to make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed around the cameras and enjoy their day and so we can tell the true story of their wedding with their unique personalities coming out in the shots.”
Emily revealed that,
“Justin and I had both been so passionate about photography from an early age, so when we started our business it felt like a dream had come true! Having our work recognised through winning awards and for couples and even complete strangers to recommend us, is always a lovely compliment. It is an advantage having two photographers as we can capture more of their day and from different angles without fuss”.
Emily is thrilled to have taken the photograph on the front cover of Wedding Whispers as the newly-wed couple were looking up through a shower of confetti on the grand staircase. We’re thrilled too! Enquiries to +44 (0) 7737 731 101 www.JustinKrause.co.uk”
Thankyou to Lynne and the team at Wedding Whispers for the opportunity!
