No more Portrait Shoots or Music at Green Dragon Studios.
As you might be aware we have had to vacate our premisses in Green Dragon Lane due to, what the landlord said, was critical roof repairs. We assumed it might be temporary having first been told to move all items of value out so nothing got damaged by the builders but then we were asked to move everything out.
We sometimes get asked: “Why do we edit our photographs?”
The reason is simple. We want to make a great shot better. I was chatting to another guy who takes photographs and who was interested in us shooting his wedding and I explained that for a wedding I would spend an average of 20 hours after the wedding day picking the best photographs and then editing them to our standard. Bride’s were asked what they’d spend more if they could do their wedding again. It’s not so much of a shock to us but now it’s been brought to more Bride-to-be’s attention!
Every wedding has it’s own unique moments, it’s own story and way it will be remembered; the bride’s beautiful dress, the moving speeches, the ushers forgetting the buttonholes, Bestman forgetting the rings, the bride getting dropped during her first dance, the Bestman having a flat tyre, the vicar getting the brides name wrong in the ceremony. These all make your wedding special and personal to you (and ones we’ve experienced first hand!). But if you’re already married, would you change anything from your day?
